Bon Cap - www.boncaporganic.co.za

Bon Cap lies on the banks of the Breede River in the picturesque valley of Eilandia outside the Robertson Wine Valley. The river is the vein of their wines. The area is well known for its very low rainfall of only 150mm per annum. Here you’ll find Red Karoo (Terra Rossa) and sandy soils, rich in lime - ideal for growing quality vines. Because of their farming methods and the scientific use of cover crops to replenish soil, the soil there is rich in compost, ensuring the premium quality of their wines and the beautiful rose gardens at the Manor. Their distinctive vineyard proves that Bon Cap indeed deserves its name - Good Cape.
